Crossroads Agency provides the following clinical services:
Individual Counseling: This is a therapeutic process by which the client meets one on one with a trained therapist in a safe, caring and confidential environment to explore feelings, beliefs, and behaviors that negatively influence their lives. The aim is to assist in facilitating change and improving quality of life. Treatment approaches and modalities used for all forms of therapy include evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing as well as Trauma Informed Therapy, Harm Reduction and Psycho-education.
Group Counseling: This is a therapeutic process in which clients meet in a confidential group setting with other clients that are experiencing similar stressors. Group members share personal information and provide feedback to others while the group leader facilitates productive communication.
Family/Couples Counseling: This is a form of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change, growth and development. Due to the nature of substance use and mental illness, family members and/or partners are alienated from the client. At Crossroads Agency, we believe in the benefit of incorporating family support into the counseling process.
*Independent family and couples counseling is available on a limited basis; however the families and/or partners of current clients are always encouraged and welcome to engage in therapy with the permission and written consent of the client.
